Meet Sea Biscuit. Her human parents adopted her from a "rescue group" where they were told that Sea Biscuit had already had her vaccinations and been spayed. Unfortunately, her parents learned that none of this was true and they ended up with SIX puppies to care for in addition to Sea Biscuit.
Here are Uno, Dos, Maddie, and Bernadette, the four females from the litter. With a little help in the form of a couple of Spay it Forwards, we were able to get Sea Biscuit and ALL SIX puppies in today!
Hondo and Yogi, the two males from the litter, were the privelaged recipients of the Spay it Forwards! HUGE THANK YOUS are in order for Pat McKinstry and Mike & Vivienne Cullinan for providing these two Spay it Forwards! You guys are awesome for making things like this possible!
We need to remember to thank our puppy parents, too, for getting them in here. If we adopt them out without spaying or neutering them, we are just perpetuating an already out of control problem. Way to go for getting SEVEN dogs in to be fixed today! You should feel good about being such a responsible pet parent.
