Tuff Neutered March 8

Last Thursday, a client came in to fill out paperwork for her two dogs to have surgery.  She asked about prices and was glad to know that we also offered additional services like flea control and dewormer.  She told us that she had a third dog, a puppy, in the car with her and that she wanted to get him fixed, too.  When told she could leave him there that day, she told us that she coudn't afford to get all three done because she wanted to be able to provide the other services for the other two.  She said she would call to make an appointment for the puppy when she had the money.

Previous exprience has taught us "it's now or never."  We know that it's healthier to get the puppy done now before he starts to mature.  We know the owner has good intentions, just not the funds.  But we don't want to see this puppy leave and never come back.  So, we offered the owner a Spay it Forward to get the puppy done that day.

This is Tuff.  His owner paid for his vaccinations and dewormer and we provided his neuter, thanks to Irene Hernandez.  This feels like a huge succes for us because we KNOW that this puppy had been neutered.  We don't have to wonder if his owner was able to get the money or when she will be back.  And she doesn't need to worry about it, either.  Now ALL the pets in Tuff's household are fixed!
